Sarah White | Movement and Theology DYCP Research Project

"Sarah's energy and power to captivate an audience is amazing (there was a mediative  silence and concentration among us, spellbound). I was actually shocked when it ended because it didn’t feel like an hour and a half. Sarah and Tyrone work so well together, the performance was really thought provoking, it made me think about the constant struggle of life and relationships."

Phase 3 - Public Performance Sharing. The Swiss Church, London, 15 April 2023, 2pm & 7pm. 1.5 hour improvised performances. With tyroneisaacstuart

At the 2pm performance we used elastic, chalk, artist books, edible paper, speech and dance. A bell was rung every fifteen minutes. The audience were given chalk and invited to draw on the floor during the performance. They were also each given the artist book and invited to read this during the work.

At the 7pm performance we let the light go down naturally and the work ended in darkness. The performance used elastic, chalk, blown eggs, edible paper, artist books,  saxophone, synth, singing, speech and dance. A bell was rung every fifteen minutes. The audience were again each given an artist book and invited to read this during the performance.
